“Above and Beyond Service on the Carnival Freedom”
October
Pros: Amazing staff and excursions, clean rooms, best dining experience ever!
Cons: Should have booked 7 days instead of 5!
Recommended: Yes
I recently took my first cruise on the Carnival Freedom, and it couldn’t have been better! The staff was incredible—they remembered our names, took care of our dietary preferences, and even brought fans to our staterooms for added comfort. The crew’s friendliness and dedication made the entire experience unforgettable. Boarding and disembarking were seamless, making everything stress-free. This team clearly loves what they do and works hard to make each guest’s experience special. I highly recommend Carnival Freedom for an exceptional cruise!

Carnival needs to improve
July
Pros: Loved our excursion to see sea lions
Cons: Let’s see 4 physical fights, bed bugs, food poisoning, rude kids, waking up to kids running around at 130am and also the clanking of pipes and metal
Recommended: No
Carnival Freedom do better please!! 4 physical fights on ship security was out in full force. Kids were to have curfews they were running halls slamming doors at 13am, where are your parents? Bed bugs found on 8,6,1 floors. Food poisoning by a few people. Rude kids no parental control. Saturday night woken up out of dead sleep to metal clanking. Called guest services. They sent housekeeping up not anything that was for them. Sent us ear plugs foam did not work. Said it was from them filling the pool really we do that 130 am? We got maybe 3 hours sleep. While out on excursion guest services called left message they could not guarantee this wouldn’t happen but moved us to a different room with a balcony. Downfall was during time we were getting ready for elegant night. More people heard the clanking next night. Guest services said it was water in pipes. They need to figure this out. Food was okay nothing like my last cruise. I will say housekeeping staff was EXCELLENT. Shout out to Rai on floor 1 & Man on floor 6 Kamal the magician was getting our daughters creeped out. His tricks were great but him finding them every night asking where they would be and then suddenly appearing even in hall ways they felt like he was stalking them. Can say first and last time to Bahamas. Next cruise will likely not be with Carnival

Freedom Cruise
July
Pros: clean, smaller ship, freedom band in the red frog pub
Cons: crowded, unruly kids, very little discipline by carnival, overly priced, food subpar, never seen so many rude adults
Recommended: No
We loved bartender Moses (Red Frog Pub) and bartender Ben at bar down by adult pool. Our room steward Rai was excellent. Pixel workers were extremely rude and didn't know what they were doing. Processed our orders wrong and made us wait over 15 minutes while they attempted to correct the order but weren't willing to throw in a simple 5x7 at no charge for their error and inconvenience and the pictures were extremely overpriced! Overall I don't think I would ever cruise Carnival again or at least not this ship as it was extremely overpriced for the quality of the trip received

Entertainment was goods like audience participation.. Would like to see more food selection. The flow off ship was not great.. took some time to adjust to get around.
