Danube
May
Pros: Good food, friendly efficient staff ( they know what your favorite drink is on day 2), comfortable rooms.
Cons: Shore excursions were good, but very few for the slow walkers.
Recommended: Yes
We had a wonderful time on the Danube from Bucharest to Prague. The ship is very comfortable and spacious for a river vessel. The staff are friendly and respond to your needs rapidly and I with humor. The bartenders know your favorite drink by day 2 and ask you if you are ready for it even at 9 a.m. It is nice to know that it is an all-inclusive ship and you probably will owe nothing at the end of the trip. The food is decent with many local entrees. The wines are good local wines with a different selection each night. You have to tell them to stop pouring otherwise they will keep refilling your glass.

Very nice time
August
Pros: Care of the passangers was great
Cons: None really
Recommended: Yes
Wonderful company to cruise with. Hygiene standard, particularly concerning Covid, was excellent and we felt totally safe on this cruise. Passengers couldn't help themselves to buffet food - but we were served what we wanted very promptly and the crew wore masks all the time Throughout, the crew couldn't have been more helpful. The activities leader was extremely nice and did a great job. Some of the tour guides on land led walks that moved a bit slowly and we'd have liked one or two strenuous hikes in the countryside. On the boat, there were a couple of excellent talks by a local historian but otherwise there wasn't any organized entertainment in the evening - apart from a preview of the upcoming days' tours. However, we didn't feel the need more entertainment - we just chatted to our dinner partners. This was my first Uniworld trip and I will certainly cruise with them again. They took care of every little detail!

Great River Cruise

Overall the food was good, but the daily menu could have had more selections, and sometimes the food was too salty. We also enjoyed the dining experience on the upper deck, which had a different menu. Unfortunately, we made reservations and they were cancelled by the staff. We felt the music entertainment on board could have been better. Overall, the staff was great, and our waiter (Paul) made our experience very enjoyable. Our stateroom staff was excellent and pleasant.
